Issue: I have a Plantronics headset connected to my computer but during team calls, I am not able to mute my microphone or change volume settings using the buttons on the headset.
Cause: The audio drivers may be corrupted and need to be repaired.
Solution 1: Restart your computer and hopefully the audio driver will respond or be repaired.
Solution 2: Check the sound settings if it is only the headset which is present. Unplug the headset to see if it is missing audio drivers for the computer. If the audio icon, has a red “X” on it then, it means it is missing audio drivers and so download and install the audio drivers for the computer. Restart the computer and then test to make sure that you can adjust the sound settings using the headset buttons.
