Issue: I received a TIF document comprising multiple pages. I converted it to PDF using Nuance PDF but when I click on Edit Text it does not give me the option to add text to the any of the pages. I need to put a signature on page 5.
Solution: Unfortunately, in Nuance PDF you are not able to directly edit PDF documents resulting from a TIF image document. To resolve this, take a picture of the signature you want to add to the document and load it on your computer either by email or by connecting your phone or camera to the computer.
Now open a new Word document and insert the image of the signature. Reduce the image of the signature to the desired size and then save the word document to compress the image to the size you have reduced it to.
Come back to the Word document, right-click on the image, and click on Save As Picture. Now save it as a desired name; example Test1 and file type should be PNG or JPEG.
Open the PDF document in Nuance PDF and go to the desired page; page 5 in this case, and then click in it to select it.
Click on the Edit tab, then click on Edit Object and now click on Place Image.
Navigate to the picture file of the signature; Test1, and then click Open to insert it in the desired page. Navigate on the page to find the image; sometimes it may be located at the bottom of the page.
Click on the image and drag it to the desired location on the page and then you can save the document to save the updates you have made.
