Issue: No ‘Picture Transparency’ Feature in MS PowerPoint.
A. Workaround for Older Versions of Microsoft Office
Solution 1: Draw a rectangular shape in PowerPoint, right-click on the rectangle and then click to select Format Shape. Navigate to select Picture or Texture Fill. Now under Insert From: select a picture file to be inserted in the rectangle or other shape. Once the picture has been inserted, move the Transparency slider to the obtain the transparency you desire.
B. Get the ‘Picture Transparency’ feature in the latest version of Microsoft Office setup
Solution 1: While connected to the internet, in MS PowerPoint, click on File –> Account –> Update Office to update Microsoft Office applications. Alternatively, click WIN+R, enter this path (C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user) and then click OK.
Solution 2: Uninstall, download, and reinstall the most up to date version of Microsoft Office 365 setup from your Office 365 account.
Once you have the updated version of MS Office, now open MS PowerPoint, go to Insert–>Picture and then upload your desired picture. Right-click on the picture and then click to select Format Picture. Select Picture Transparency and move the Transparency slider to obtain the transparency you desire.
