Change Password On Your Computer After Changing Wifi Password

Issue:

I have changed the wifi password for my modem and I need it changed on my computer. The wifi is set to automatically connect to my computer but in this case it is having the old password which is not the current password. I am using Windows 10 OS.

Solution:

On Windows 10, right-click on the Windows Start Menu button and click on Settings.

Now click on Wi-Fi in the left pane and then navigate to find Manage Known Networks in the right pane.

Now search for the desired Wifi network and click on it.

Click on Forget to cause the computer to forget the existing password that the computer uses to automatically connect to the Wifi.

NB: In some cases, you may see Not Shared, click on it and then click on Forget.

Now go back to the Desktop, click on the Wifi icon in the Status bar and then click on the desired Wifi network name.

Click on Connect and then it will request for the Security Key; put in the current password for the Wifi network and then try to connect to the internet to make sure it is working.

  1. My brother suggested I would possibly like this web site.
He used to be entirely right. This submit truly made my day.
You can not believe simply how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks!
