Verizon Aircard Not Working

Sometimes the aircards from Verizon are shipped already activated but other times they are not activated and so you need to activate them.

If you are connecting to a VPN system, you may receive this error message:

 

If you are not connected to a VPN system, then you will be taken straight to this error page:

 

Solution: Go to https://www.verizon.com/home/myverizon/ and log into your account or register an account.

Search for the aircard profile using the aircard mobile number. You would realize that the sim card (ICCID) number in your account is different from what is on the order sheet or on the sim card in the aircard modem.

Click on the Activate button to start the activation process; it takes about a minute or two to finish the activation. Click Continue and review it to make sure the sim card number and the IMEI number match what is on the aircard itself or the order sheet.
